He’ll be talking the same sh*t about something else within the year
Surely the big guns at Coolmore can see how embarrassing it is and should put a stop to it.

He's definitely not a 7f or a miler. No 2000G is a certainty now. I think he'd either be taking up sprinting here in his next race or in America. Perhaps The Everest in Aussieland if Mr Magnier would stump up AUD 600000 for a spot in the race.

I'd like to see connections stump up AUD 600k for the sprint race in Australia. Maybe AOB would to justify his hyperbole for the horse. Or retire Albert Einstein altogether. 7f or 8f Gp 1 AE is definitely not.

The general consensus of opinion is that he’s a sprinter, from the horses mouth, the trainer himself.
Going into today’s race he said :
"We're happy with him and it was kind of a late decision to run," said O'Brien. "We've just been very happy with him since the Curragh. He's been doing everything right. We thought it would be a nice race for him before the Guineas, if we're going to supplement him.

When asked if he could work back from the Commonwealth Cup, O'Brien said: "Yes, that's very possible now. Obviously, we’ll go and talk to the lads and see what they want to do, but there is a very good chance that’s the route he’s going to go. "He will definitely have another run before the Commonwealth Cup. The sprinters are coming here [for a racecourse gallop] tomorrow – Charles Darwin, Brussels and a few others – they are all three-year-old sprinters as well and this fella will add into the mix there. This fella was always a bit different, but we'll see.
So he either doesn’t know, is putting people away, but generally is a munt of the highest order.
I can quote other forumites who’ve called him a sprinter but the trainers words are enough.
Let us know if you’re taking 25’s for the Guineas

Dela, When I say he isnt a sprinter ( in my eyes ) I am talking about what he has shown so far this season, yes I know he won a couple of 6 Furlong races last season, but that was then an this is now.
Very strange run Today, hitting a flat spot and then actually picking up again without really troubling the leaders.

LASGOWCALLING • April 18, 2026 4:38 PM BST ???? Has he looked like a sprinter ?? I must have missed that.
That was only ever slightly sarcastic, I get that now, what with my autism

Loads of hype witn Albert E, yet nothing to back it up. For a moment today I thought he was going to quicken in top class style and breeze past the leaders but he didn't.
Making excuses for beaten horses is the way to the poor house, so I cannot be having him for the 2000 Guineas - yet O'Brien is a master at finding the key to horses which have been disapointing.
But, why ios Puerto Rico not getting more attention? If me my memory serves me correctly, does he not have 2YO form lines that suggest he would beat anything else in the race? He is game and straighforward to ride from the front. I would not be surprised if he was the main hope for Balydoyle at Newamrket.

If they supplement him which I think they will 25/ 1 will look big, ran a very good race today his target is the guineas, and the way he stayed on who knows could be derby bound but would need to win the guineas

He is 6/1 second favourite for the 2,000 Guineas so hardly forgotten.
Puerto Rico won the Lagardere and Criterium, two back-end Group 1s in France so although he is entered in the English and Irish Guineas and Derby, it suggests he is being aimed at the French classics, perhaps because they doubt he will stay 12f (the French Derby is only 10f). Obviously plans can change, especially now wonder horse Albert Einstein has blotted his copybook.

Reason being Kinght is that AoB has put others in the spotlight as I’ve been keen to point out.
He laid the story out last year going into the Coventry about who his best horse is, but others have shown up whereas he hasn’t.
Not long ago he was saying that Moore was on Gstaad in the morning work with a view to Newmarket.
I did find a quote where he mentioned PR joining one of them but so far he’s been more than happy to not talk about him, question is why?

Knight on my 2000 thread I gave examples of the Champage form being reversed from 2 to 3 and he beat Oxagon there 1 length as you know. He’s still double digits for the Guineas. Not that I’m tempted but it makes me think.

AOB's still firing blanks with his charges. West Of Eden (5/6) bombed badly at Navan. Next up is Charles Darwin (2/5) then follow by Scandinavia (5/6).

He’s done what Albert hasn’t so far, he’s been sacrificed in my eyes for other plans as said ages ago.
Interesting that this one Darwin was owned and ran in Westerberg silks first time out.

AOB is expecting "sprint fireworks" from him, according to a gravy-trainer. The narrative is the same just not over 8f.
I hope he'd do as well as Caravaggio.
