He's definitely not a 7f or a miler. No 2000G is a certainty now. I think he'd either be taking up sprinting here in his next race or in America. Perhaps The Everest in Aussieland if Mr Magnier would stump up AUD 600000 for a spot in the race.

I'd like to see connections stump up AUD 600k for the sprint race in Australia. Maybe AOB would to justify his hyperbole for the horse. Or retire Albert Einstein altogether. 7f or 8f Gp 1 AE is definitely not.

The general consensus of opinion is that he’s a sprinter, from the horses mouth, the trainer himself.
Going into today’s race he said : "We're happy with him and it was kind of a late decision to run," said O'Brien. "We've just been very happy with him since the Curragh. He's been doing everything right. We thought it would be a nice race for him before the Guineas, if we're going to supplement him. |

Loads of hype witn Albert E, yet nothing to back it up. For a moment today I thought he was going to quicken in top class style and breeze past the leaders but he didn't.
Making excuses for beaten horses is the way to the poor house, so I cannot be having him for the 2000 Guineas - yet O'Brien is a master at finding the key to horses which have been disapointing. But, why ios Puerto Rico not getting more attention? If me my memory serves me correctly, does he not have 2YO form lines that suggest he would beat anything else in the race? He is game and straighforward to ride from the front. I would not be surprised if he was the main hope for Balydoyle at Newamrket. |

He is 6/1 second favourite for the 2,000 Guineas so hardly forgotten. Puerto Rico won the Lagardere and Criterium, two back-end Group 1s in France so although he is entered in the English and Irish Guineas and Derby, it suggests he is being aimed at the French classics, perhaps because they doubt he will stay 12f (the French Derby is only 10f). Obviously plans can change, especially now wonder horse Albert Einstein has blotted his copybook. |

Reason being Kinght is that AoB has put others in the spotlight as I’ve been keen to point out.
He laid the story out last year going into the Coventry about who his best horse is, but others have shown up whereas he hasn’t. Not long ago he was saying that Moore was on Gstaad in the morning work with a view to Newmarket. I did find a quote where he mentioned PR joining one of them but so far he’s been more than happy to not talk about him, question is why? |

Knight on my 2000 thread I gave examples of the Champage form being reversed from 2 to 3 and he beat Oxagon there 1 length as you know. He’s still double digits for the Guineas.
Not that I’m tempted but it makes me think. |
