I think bookmakers can send another crate of champagne to Skelton. Going forward with Sinnatra just messed the race up. Sober Glory was never comfortable, and Baron Noir jumped like a dog before finding nothing off the bridle. How was the winner only 16/1? I wouldn't have fancied it with another nought. I have pointed out the massive difference in Jones' stats over hurdles compared to chases.

Exactly impossible. In the end that was not what beat him but how can you start 3 wide in a 6 horse race! He gave away 2 lengths or more before they had gone a furlong. very strange race. I have never wavered from my view that Captain Hugo is the best horse in the Hobbs Yard and I see he is in the Scottish Champion hurdle which is a handicap.

Sober Glory didn't win the Supreme. How do you explain that SG has been beaten twice at odds on. Captain Hugo would never stop trying. They have been campaigned very differently and CH won the Morebattle with a bit in hand.
