The horse is a strong stayer at 2m 4f so I can see Cobden making all. The horse jumps well.
What's not to like.

Agree. Not even Cobden can get this beat surely (baring in mind the Sunday 'jinx of the shorties')
The original post would have looked a little better at the start of the day. If only all those punters who had been taken in, had also avoided the first five.

Even though the horse won I thought it was a bad ride.
He should of kicked on 5 out and used the horses stamina.
Cobden nearly got it beat trying to look good.
But it won.

Yes, there was nothing special about the ride. You could probably argue the second wanted even more of a test of stamina, although he probably ended up winning because the second isn't that keen on winning - won 4/5 and now 10 defeats in a row.
the comms were praising the jockey of the 2nd , very stylish etc etc , FFSAKE
curious how ewe made it a 2/5 chance? both similar rating over hurdles and wingmen getting 5lb.
