What a brave piece questioning the easy handicap winners at the festival after being 'prepared for the big day' in their early races.
As he points out the trainers are lauded for their skill.
Usually its only the top trainers who have owners who can wait all season for the big day.
If a journeyman trainer achieved such a feat there would be an outcry.
Many journalists would not have written this piece as their job would be seriously affected as many trainers that they need on side would not be picking up the phone. Well done Denis.
