So are we to believe Queally made the whole thing up, or the BHA hadn't got a clue what to do if they found De Boinville guilty/didn't want any further adverse publicity? I'll plump for the latter, which is just typical of the sport. No negatives required.
PR management process started with the 'handshake'. Going to be tough now extracting evidence as well. The BHA must be delighted they've kissed and made up.

So predictable from the BHA. One of their own is protected. At least the public now know the real entitled arrogant posh boy! Point to point has let the mask slip.

The funniest thing I read was that De Boinville was so unpopular even Constitution Hill hated him and didn't want him on his back, hence the three falls.

You Boy, you Boy, yes you on the rail eating the Potao. Get off this land you have no right here, I shall tell the proprietor. Although I do believe he wants the adjacent field Tarmcacking.

Not surprised, but it does make you wonder that some people think the best way to have sorted this out was to have a punch up. I remember punch ups on the football pitch, but that was predominantly back in the 70's. Times have moved on from that school playground mentality, or at least they should have done. It's irrelevant anyway as the query was about how it was resolved, not something that didn't happen.

I don't want to see any rider hit by another rider but for me this is such a trivial story in the grand scheme of things. With 20 plus riders jostling to get a starting position, a few cross words are normal and I don't think that an Irish amateur is going to get much sympathy in the Cheltenham weighing room.
