Trump embarrasses himself every day of the week, but he is so stupid he doesn't realise. He will have a go at anyone who doesn't massage his ridiculous ego. Thankfully, Starmer has given up doing that. You can't reason with a crank. Best off just letting him talk to himself.

"back them with Naval assistance" to do what exactly, Reg?
By:
.... Spot on, has the man no shame or is it onset dementia kicking in, not that long ago he was slagging our Armed Forces.

By the way, Emma Murphy on ITV news, maximum respect to this woman for risking her life to bring us the truth about what is happening in Beirut currently.

George B...in the Strait of Hormuz specifically, eventually, but just in the general Gulf region to start with
By:
Sorry George B, didn't answer your question, we should be backing our greatest allies
By:
Trump incredulity at Starmer not being able to make a decision himself...Trump knows that what he says goes, his " Cabinet " will back him...as it should be, imo
By:
I see Reg, you mean like we did in Iraq?
By:
Big respect to Starmer.
By:
George , that was Blair blatantly lying to get us involved
Unfortunately, that caused the weakening of Iraq, which in turn promoted the strengthening of Iran. ..Sunni v Shia stuff |
By:
Tell you what Reg, we'll see what you think about supporting 'the father of the j ab' once the fuel and food shortages start to kick in.
We had to support Trump didn't we, cuz we couldn't have them mad ayatollahs getting their hands on nukes. |
By:
George, your post made it look like I had said that last sentence, which I did not
By:
Yes, I agree that their is gonna be some economic problems in the next few months..probably not shortages, just higher prices for a while
By:
Reg, you say you're embarrassed for Starmer because he's seemingly reluctant to get involved, which made me think that you think that we should be getting involved with the bombing of Iran and Lebanon.
Sorry if I've taken your post beyond what you intended it to mean. |
By:
Robert Peston was saying he thinks if this drags on then there will be fuel shortages, and my analysis of that in turn is that there will inevitably be other shortages.
By:
I am not a Starmer fan but I actually think his credibility ratings will have gone up since not capitulating to Tango Man.
By:
George B...I realise I didn't make myself clear ,sorry for that
I feel that we should back our closest allies, USA, imo We don't have the same need to back Israel as the USA does historically, that's another story...but I think we should be playing support roles...as in allowing their planes to use our runways |

no fan of SKS but cmon this war is ridiculous, cast your minds back to last summer tango trump said iran chances of making a nuke had been set back decades after bomning their nuke plants, now all of a sudden he says iran only days away from making one....the mind boggles

By:
Oh dear sorry the brexit vote didn't go your way, and people like Farage, 1/7 you've got no grandkids.
By:
... The man is a complete an utter headcase, yes he did say he had blown all their nuckes to kingdom come, he had the bunker busters and everything, he then decides to start a war halfway through talks that were reportedly going ok at the time. ??

We need to US to protect our sorry arses. That's not directly down to Starmer, but it is down to people that share his politics, that have hollowed out the country over the last 35 years.
Nobody on here has access to the actual intelligence, but Iran are an enemy of the west. The west is nothing without the US, dead in the water in fact. It's ironic how all the liberalists want the US to go after Putin, but do their brains in when it comes to a vastly more dangerous enemy. I just wonder why that is, the mind boggles.... |

Mag, step outside now and check the weather, I don't need too, do you get it?

Not too difficult tbh…

There's a fundamental issue to consider .
Is our support of the USA the same as our support of Trump andhis gang ? It clearly isn't. We have been the USA's closest ally for a century and that won't change any day soon . But in the case of Trump , we've just got to get to the end of his term while minimising the damage he will cause to everything around him . Starmer is playing absolute blinder in this context |

For those who think that Stammer is doing well, consider his real reason for not wanting to get involved?!
![]() It’s not because of some moral principle that he believes that it’s wrong, which he’s shown us many times he can’t tell what’s right from wrong ie, “Yum Yum” Mandy. It’s because he’s shat scared of upsetting a sector of society who he’s continually panders to and bends over backwards to placate. He’s a ring piece. |
