He was only 3lb off his highest mark. Why are they saying he's thrown in off this mark. Plus he's been running like a drain.

Seems everybody in racing can see it going on with this outfit except the authoritys, the media cheerleads it when its a big name but condemn the small man, the only thing the punter can do is put yer money on when the day arrives.

I would love 1 day to be in on one of these type of races.

The system is the issue.
Handicappers quick to raise handicap marks, slow to bring them down.
Look at Venetia's winner yesterday...won off 140 back in November 2024.
Only came back down to that mark in January 2026.

Thats ok then. Of course I'm using Byrnes as an extreme example. There's many baddies out there. A cheat is a cheat imop, can't have any of this 'bud he's not as bad as' type rubbish.

As I said on another thread, what Skelton does is no different to most other trainers. He's the best at it, currently. There'll be hundreds laid out for this week that are still running.

How about the Grand National winner Ruller of the World, had never won a chase prior to the greatest steeple chase!
