That is never going to happen - it would make for far too easy a way of throwing a race - if you do not manage to ride wide, get "accidentally" stuck behind traffic, or otherwise apply the brake, just give your horse a few extra smacks as it covers the last half-furlong and wait for the stewards to throw it out?

It's last win was off 1lb higher when reeling off 5 in a row at same time of year 4 of which were on Good going. you can always find reasons after the event. The Good going is certainly playing a big part at the festival this year, including a lot of dodgy jumping at speed .... it's a whole new game.
