Just could not trust this horse. Have been caught with him before.  Leau Du Sud e/w for me, not a proper bet, anyone else have any opinions.

Some bookies are trying to "nap" him. He's 7/4 (boost), and 1/1 for 2-places.

I backed IL Etait Temps but if Majborough, with the ground in his favour, jumps adequately he should win. Interesting to see if Irish Panther or Quilixios take him on up front and put pressure on his jumping.

I'm surprised at the price of Il Etait Temps. He was out to 10/1, now 3/1. Barmy?

Here Brandy, my thoughts from my own form reading vs prices. It’s now 9th March no one said no chance but he’s a fav they have real short for me.

Delashay • March 3, 2026 7:56 AM GMT

The last time L Du Sud raced against the current CC fav Maj in the Arkle there was only 3/4 L between the pair, if as yesterdays article is right and they are correct in that he needs to be fresh to be at his best then 13/8 to 7/1 looks a bit of a big discrepancy in pricing between the pair on the formbook.

Skelton will try to take Maj off his feet early into making a mistake I’d of thought.

Maybe Mullins’ other runner will try to pick up pieces should the JP horse fail because of the tactics.

I’ve admitted elsewhere to having watched very little of this seasons action, I’m not a jumps man, but the formbook showed the prices were wrong.

I was correct in saying

“Maybe Mullins’ other runner will try to pick up pieces should the JP horse fail because of the tactics.”

I saw them talking about how Walsh decided to use his stride last time out, realised that Skelts wouldn’t have to take him on today.
Didn’t know that Foyles’ pick was a front runner, nor Broomheads nag, just seemed obvious to try and make the thing over race.
The jock is getting blamed and he did go too fast after going to post very keenly, not a good ride but the jumping at speed still cost the horse.

Here is very different to those public gallops at Leopardstown.
Report ALIEN SEX FIEND March 11, 2026 4:45 PM GMT
Well done winners.  Slowly away MAJ, I thought nice I have dodged a bullet, after 4 fences I was thinking, made a mistake as he was jumping well, after the first error I knew again I was right. Looks like the race that maybe worth laying the favourite every year the way its going. Wish I had the guts to lay him, although I could see him winning, he is like Jonbon at the festival, will keep promising and not deliver.

No idea about sectional times etc. But visually it looked like Mark Walsh got somewhat over-excited and Townend just rode a normal race.

Arkle 2025

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGkmgdAo4a8

This is worth watching back with yesterday’s Champion chase fresh in mind. Maj was 4/9 and a 5 yr old hadn’t won the Arkle for 19 years since the weights were changed!
Report Delashay March 12, 2026 12:23 PM GMT
Jango tried to lead them but couldn’t and was outpaced with two to jump, he powered up the hill and just got them on the line.
How much was he staying on compared to them tiring?

Lord du Skud was in the lead like yesterday and threw it away not staying at that pace.
Report Delashay March 12, 2026 12:25 PM GMT
*sorry 3 out where he jumped low and got away with it
Report Delashay March 12, 2026 12:41 PM GMT
There’s 18 fences in the KG

22 in the Gold Cup

Jangoe wasn’t great at the second in the KG and in the Arkle when the race got going 3 out he wasn’t great, but flew the last.

Has four more fences tomorrow, could jumping let him down?

I’m questioning the form of last years Arkle (where Lord Du Skud had the race won after the last only to fade to 4th come the line) especially after yesterday.

For me he ran the best race in the KG I posted my thoughts after it, JBM had the perfect trip, reminded me of how Look De Vega won the Jockey Club. It’s a different day in a different track.
Jangoe didn’t go by but had every chance, I think his jumping will let him down when the pace quickens.
