Some horses like the hurly burly, some don't. I backed No Drama and Final Demand so Harry has cost me twice but in neither case do I blame any rider. The first favourite was never travelling. You might argue that Townend might have challenged earlier but Kitzbuhl was always holding him from the last. Terrific from Cobden when the horse was good enough. At least I was able to lay FD off! Poor old Gordon still can't get a look in apart from Brighterdays ahead. First 2 favourites both pulled up. The next is far too difficult so waiting for Vanderpoel now.

was reading somewhere this morning about it been a tight turn in to straight which could pose a problem for majbrough, but although Townsend had the inside there ,it was almost as though he got off to push around the bend in to the straight

![]() Thinking you are always correct is a sign of several underlying psychological, cognitive, and personality factors, ranging from common cognitive biases to, in extreme cases, personality disorders. It often serves as a defense mechanism to manage insecurity, fear, or a need for control. |

didn't need to take on Quilixios, who knows whether it would have made a difference. i didn't hear the pundits talking about it but he missed the start, then used up a lot of energy to take the lead up. riding to orders, perhaps.
