One would hope so. But in over 20 years I've never put a tip up before getting what I wanted on. Unless I can't get on myself. I doubt there are many people that wouldn't take that approach !

It wasn't or else I wouldn't have bet it. Like I said I thought the other two rags would struggle to finish, and MD was out of form and over 2 stone inferior. Yes obviously he might not be ridden out but I made it 50/50 he would effectively finish alone.

No, in the race. So rated 22lb inferior + giving away 6lb + out of form.

Anyway, for me it's all about price, I would have made it slightly odds on, so 2.6 was a bet. It wasn't a sure thing as he probably would have been given an easy time when winning. But the layers also needed something to run well, and the winner to be given an easy time. For me only one horse could do that. He did, and the jolly nearly did a summersault. Good bets don't always land.
