Is it to give jocks a break, or opportunities to riders who have ridden a small number of winners.
You have riders who have had hundreds of rides in the last 12 months eg Callum Hutchinson, Gina Mangan. Rhys Clutterbuck etc etc and others who have barely had a ride.
If it was to give riders more opportunities, wouldn't it have made more sense to base it on number of rides rather than winners ridden ?
