I live 20 mins from the track....I believe today was still
£25 entry without a race card.
Understanding the weather factor and that it is a midweek fixture, watching that jockey interview I could not see a single racegoer in shot.
Why not make it free entry?
Surely 200 attendees buying drinks and other refreshments beats 10 paying on the gate.
The lack of intuition and forethought is astounding from those that run these fixtures.
