12 stone in that ground, impressive
By:
Hand bigger, opposite ground conditions.
By:
2lb higher mark
By:
mightily impressive off 12 stone in that ground.
By:
Won the gerry fielden as did rock on ruby in his champion hurdle season
By:
138 top weight in a schweppes...just dominated a load of rammel imo
By:
seen all day its front end gashole
By:
His new mark will be higher than the current Champion.
By:
Rock on ruby 15lb higher in Gerry fielden but there’s no hurricane fly in this years race

You have Nemean Lion getting beat in hcap hurdles yet running The New Lion & Golden Ace close in condition races. Got to go for the Champion if its soft.
By:
Absolutely geoff
By:
Incredibly easy win. Just disappointed that he went from 11/2 half an hour before the race to 100/30 SP for the tipping comp! Paul is just so good at hiding good horses until the big day.
By:
Rooster booster 2nd in the tote gold trophy of same mark as tuitti but it was the following season when he was champion hurdler.
By:
the year geos beat rooster booster a mark of 138 wouldn't have even been in the hcap

I remember Make A Stand of Mr Pipe. Another Might performer was Trueshan at Newcastle. I only found out a few days ago Trueshan was fatally injured at Goodwood last July; I did not watch the race.

Hi Jimnast hope yer well. Epatante won the Gerry Fielden off 137 before winning Champion same season. For Auction was unplaced in the Schweppes off 10-7 yet won the Champion 6 weeks later.

25/1 nrnb 365 looks good value to me.
By:
I was looking at the year Copeland beat him off course he was second in three runnings of the race
By:
Hope your well also geoff now you have mentioned for auction I am not well ,i backed him anti post for the Schweps at around 25/1 the race was abandoned and not rerun he then won the champion hurdle beating two very very good horses in broadsword and ekbalco.

It must have been the 81 race he won the champion hurdle in 82 didn’t remember him getting beat of that weight before the champion hurdle
By:
won the greatwood 9l off 155 for example
long way for tutti to go |
By:
would generally be negative going forward on him
By:
That’s right wonder it started the county hurdle and went from there
By:
A long way to go but no other runners are progressing like this fellow in the champion hurdle
By:
is he entered?
By:
And are there any horses likely to run in the CH rated above 165? Only Constitution Hill if he happens to run.
By:
Needs to be supplemented wonder and Nicholls said they would leave it late to decide. They can wait until 6 days before.
By:
thanks
By:
He said by then you would get a fair idea of the ground so could decide then the race needs him
By:
Cropsick 1557 very generous price
By:
Those running in the Champion Hurdle would be nearer 25/1. however, this year's renewal is extremely weak unless a resurrection from Constitution Hill.
By:
Very poor quality race on bad ground but after that he has to go to a mark of 152 in my opinion, lots of options, County hurdle or Liverpool and Nicholls always states that the festival is not the be all and end all, however why not put him in as the ground will at least be good to soft and more likely soft on the first day and as many have stated its a real poor looking Champion.
By:
Last time I saw a hurdle winner win so easy was when Atours made its hurdle debut for Elsworth in 1994.
You could collect your winnings on the home turn on Tutti Quanti. |
By:
Great performance but I wouldn’t be getting carried away. Certainly worth his place in the Champion Hurdle but:
This William Hill hurdle isn’t the race it used to be. I’d want to see heavy ground at Cheltenham. I remember Dato Star used to thrash the opposition in heavy ground trials, but in turn was thrashed on better ground at the festival. In his favour I think the race this year is rubbish and Tutti Quanti is definitely a slick hurdler though is inclined to flatten at least one. |
By:
Can he raise his game to beat Golden Ace? Then there are the other three who head the betting. Tall ask for me. I would wait until next season.
By:
Nicholls said after the race the great thing about supplementing is that you can leave it until six days beforehand so you can assess likely ground conditions.
By:
Dato star did beat French holly at Newcastle on good to soft but yes most of his best form was on softer
By:
Tutti Quanti hurdles really fast but being honest todays race was very poor renewal but Tutti Quanti only needs improve a little bit more to run in the champion, hopefully the handicapper wont put him up more than 12lbs so he can win the county hurdle given his ground.
