DUBLIN RACING FESTIVAL AND STATE OF IRISH RACING

Hi all, just check out the declarations for the DRF festival and what a sorry state of affairs racing is in Ireland, how do trainers make a living over there even someone like Henry De Bromhead cant get a look in most of the time, all you will see is races in which most of the runners in any race are Willie Mullins trained with his only opponents being Gordon Elliot horses, take a look at the Irish Champion Hurdle for example. The Irish Gold Cup is no better indeed most of the big races on Saturday are just those two taking each other on, it cannot be right that this happens and all the other trainers must be on the streets selling the big issue to make ends meat, this is not good for Irish Racing.
