6 races at Hereford today...27 runners...you'd almost get that many in a maiden hurdle in Ireland.
Trainers have been bemoaning the fact that it has been too dry all winter...then we get the soft ground and the runners dry up.
Nuts.

small fields = less hiding places = Catch22 when they want to run.

howard, my one paced comment was made after watching him today! Not sure how I could have told you before the race. I thought I was being helpful to anyone considering backing him in a better race. The general consensus seems to be that he is lazy. I question that.

Of course you could have given an  opinion before the race. That's if you are as good as you think you are.   He had run 5 times under rules and races before that.   Stevie Wonder could have given an opinion after the race.
