No I am not saying that, didn’t say it and don’t think it. My position is clear and, unlike elise last week, you will get no sport out of me.

Lossiemouth has been a dodge-pot, and the opportunity arising from the injury to Sir Gino has offered here esp her connection a great opportunity to lift the Champion Hurdle trophy at Cheltenham. A reward can come to those who waits applies to horseracing too.
But, it will be one of the worst Champion Hurdle ever if Lossiemouth does materialise as the winner. Her principal adversary The New Lion is a non-2m hurdling champion either. The Donnellys are having an almighty awful luck at the moment eg State Man and now Sir Gino. Anzadam is unlikely to be a formidable adversary either. El Fabiolo, a possible outsider? I hope Sir Gino recovers fully from this pelvic injury and can lead a normal life off the track. |
