yes I saw that wonder. I know little about horse physiology but he was galloping very oddly as they went into the back straight. Very sad indeed

It's called "flagging" when the tail does that, and often a very bad sign.

The catastrophic big race hurdle results have never been so prevalent. Last years CH seemed to start the rot  and in all honesty, I am beginning to actually dread watching those events.

We're always fed the continual BS from onnections, "we'll let the horse tell us", well CH has been telling connections for a very long time now that he don't want to jump hurdles anymore and still he was wheeled out to jump hurdles and still they're doing it.

Are horses under more stress when they are being restrained, I dont know but strange Nico wanted to hold him up after leading most of the way in the Christmas hurdle.

I'm starting think that Henderson is cursed. Any top owner which is in the even slightest superstitious (possibly a lot of them) is going to give this stable a massive swerve. Plus watch the powder puff finish on Impose Toi by the point to point amateur stable jockey so why would you send your best horses here.

Update from Nicky, Sir Gino had a comfortable night at the Equine Hospital, it will take many months to see what his future holds, he will not race again this season.
