Started back here( after 4 year break) start of last year , was allowed to deposit £5k a month first two months ( used to be no limit). After 4 or 5 chats with Safer Gambling during the year I am now down to £500 a month even though I had a winning year. I only play the Golf markets and there are clearly people on there with huge banks , whether they can deposit huge amounts I don't know.
5000 is a default back stop on accounts that kept under radar......and u were gone 4 year..... All down to afford.......ability checks that government wanted. u got away with for 2 months of 5k.....then they wanted to investigate u

you get another card in the same name and have a separate sub account and can withdraw yourself, assuming you win anything
and if thats not possible, as long as you dont transfer every week it shouldnt be a problem

im stuck on 500 per month.....have been for months......its fine if you win, if you are 2 grand up, you will be okay for 2.5k, but if you lose 500 in the first few days you are fcked.....
**** is 2 grand a day, so no great shakes if you have a bad day or 2 on here.
funnily enough, i lost 800 the other day, but for the month i was already 3.5k up.....i got a message from betfair saying that they were placing a temporary limit on my account of £500 per month......Im already on 500 bloody quid per month.....They really are clueless fcks.

I deposit and withdraw immediately.....when I win...
But I got this 500 quid message when I'm already restricted to 500....sure it must be automated.
Daq is fine though..more than enough liquidity for me on most markets if I need to go there..
2 grand a day seems to be the norm elsewhere..only use skybet and **** from the tradionianol bookmakers... They and daq are 2 grand a day deposit limit.

I know I'm idiot because I was once given the choice.
I could either be an idiot or a sad lonely f*cker whose only interest in life is money.
You being greedy chose both.

I set a limit, withdraw.. and my deposit limit goes up by the amount I withdraw, until limit resets at end of month.
So really these limits are not for benefit of customer nor are they sensibly administered.
Bank doesn't seem to mind how often I deposit and withdraw, but Shirley it must cost betfair a few quid in transaction fees?
Good to see you around frames. For those that don't know frames he's one of the good guys.

I like to keep a minimum of £6k in my account (for my lays) and haven't deposited since 2022. My stated deposit limit (which I set many years ago) is £1500 per day. Never had any checks at all since I joined.
I'm planning to be away for a month from end of March so my plan is to leave £3K in my account (I usually empty my account when I'm away that long) and then deposit £1500 on first day back and build up (probably slowly) until I get back up to my £6k. Hopefully that should avoid attention but a big loss in first few weeks will make me vulnerable!

It's not just wokery run riot, it's some clown's interpretation of the wokery. The firm asks "What can we do to keep ourselves safe in these days of ACs?" Someone (how is he / she selected) gets paid and comes up with a stupid response well beyond anything necessary. The firm puts it in place and when challenged shouts "It's the law". It's not the law, you utter muppets: it's someone who has no idea giving a guess as to what's the law.
