Who knows allaho and new mill both won this race in there festival winning seasons and both sizing John and don Cossack won the race in there gold cup seasons,as you say very impressive today

Anyone remember the odds on favourite when along side don cossack at the last at thurles it was then the kinloch brae chase ?

I enjoy it loyal and thankfully still have great recall which makes the job easier

That said the year champagne fever fell at the last at thurles don Cossack ran in the Ryanair it was the following season he won the thurles race and the gold cup

A mate of mine the other day recalled the two horses who beat Vaguely Noble as a 2yo. 

Am 6 miles away and though I like and admire Patrick , if Victoria Pendleton couldnt get me there he had no chance , we call it the dog track .

Contrary to popular belief,you need to stay the trip there (courtesy from Jenny Pitman many years ago)

I couldn’t be able do that loyal whilst I’m well aware of the horse he was around 10 years before i started following the sport.
