That was the past eg no online betting, fobt, etc. The present horserace meetings are so expensive eg entry fee, parking, food, etc. Also, they could be shared with music events where excessive drinking is common with little knowledge or interest in horseracing principally.

A horserace meeting can be an enjoyable occasion esp with children, but meeting a partner? It's akin to meeting a future partner in Alcoholic Anonymous or Gambling Addiction sessions.

Newbury seems a popular place, loper not alone in that.   I always think a sports venue is the best place for a woman to meet a man.  Plenty of choice, but the good looking ones would likely be already taken.  Nobody should get married before 30.

How true? Otherwise horseracing levy can only go south further. I've given it a rest because of trickery and sharp practice of 'ladcrooks'.

An owner on tv stated less horseracing to encourage a larger field eg one of his horses started at 1/6 2x. Two common sense from two common people associated with horseracing daily ie a punter and an owner.

The point is how many of the new racegoers will return ??  My guess is not many unless the food and drink prices are reduced.
