I’ve been watching the best of luck on Sunday a good show I particularly found the chief of amo not going to attempt to spell his name a very interesting character.also thought John inverdale spoke well about horse racing.

Report GEORGE.B December 24, 2025 9:12 AM GMT
I watched "Stuffed" last night, a supposedly one-off comedy on the BBC for the festive season.

Right away we were introduced to the main character, played by Guz Khan, who was wearing a jumper with the words "Property of A llah" on it.

I must admit, I can't remember laughing once during the hour it was on, but one line that did catch my attention was when the main character was surveying the scenery at Lapland and commented that it was: whiter than the front row at a Taylor Swift concert.

I don't know, but I would imagine if a white actor had made a 'gag' about people of colour at a black singer's concert, then that would be instant cancellation, or even a couple of years in the slammer for "hate" speech?

Welcome to Christmas on the BBC.
Report s.kenbo December 24, 2025 9:53 AM GMT
It sounds like it entertained you enough to see it through to the end!

Not one bit, s.kenbo, and if it turns out to be have been a pilot, suffice to say not something I'll ever be watching again. An hour of my life that I'll never get back!

If Putin wants to trial one of his biggies id suggest 10 Downing Street SW1,  Portland Place W1 or Wood Lane W12.

GC, that Taylor Swift 'gag' isn't even an original line as apparently it's been used in memes before.

Wanted the Ashes live to had to take out a 12 month subscription to TNT - only consolation is there was a couple of cracking documentaries available to watch, one on the unreal Barry Sheene, a character made for the 70’s if ever this was one, and the other, an eight part series on Bernie Ecclestone, which I watched from start to finish yesterday - would have been fascinating to see him turning his wheeling and dealing and problem solving to UK racing administration.
