Didn't know he was there.?

Trying to be too clever
By:
knew he had shotgun covered, he just forgot there were horses behind him imo.
By:
bungled the last & ridden like that leaving no margin for error

Pants pulled down by an excellent jockey.

Not weak, merely an appalling over confident ride

bungled the last & ridden like that leaving no margin for error
agree |
By:
If that is him in a drive then he is either riding with an injury or he has gone at the game.
No way he can maintain being main jock at Hendos if that is all he has in the tank. |
By:
The last flight cost him.
By:
AP & JP needs to tell Nicky not to put him on anymore of their horses
By:
smelly late drift
By:
They must think punters are blind

That was absolutely desperate. Even he knew he was on a far superior horse. He thought he'd just jump the last and it would quicken up and he would't need to do anything. He didn't even try after the last. One of the most pathetic rides I've ever seen.

1.38 to 1.72

Yeah.He threw the race.

If that is him in a drive then he is either riding with an injury or he has gone at the game. his 3 worst years on the figs have come in the last 4 years...so the latter imo |
By:
It was an appalling ride which deserved slating
By:
How can anyone defend Nico? He has one of the Top 3 stable jockey jobs in England. Are you telling me that is an ELITE jockey?!
By:
was a good conditional turned a fair pro
but age & injury catch up with them all in the end just nice horses mask the decline |
By:
The individual will probably win the King George on Boxing Day and once again become the new Risen……mind you most riders would win on the horse tbh….

nelly scene neeko was powder púff coming to last and laid it all the way down to 1.05

Inept or corrupt ride? Sadly, given the massive drift on here immediately prior to the Off, it has to be the latter. Some connected Faces knew and profited accordingly! Come racing and get mugged!
By:
Pretty obvious he thought he could win without needing to try too hard. Unfortunately it bungled the last and he was up against Cobden.
By:
He would have to have been Nostradamus to have stopped that Ihal

UpTheCreek or DownthePan: Explain the drift at the Off, Gullible Iron!
By:
not convinced it was intentional to be beaten a few inches..looked like he thought could win when he liked.
By:
I would suggest that whether it won or lost was of no consequence to the loveable JP but o suggest that it was stopped puts you in the same class as Newmarket Sausage,Ihal.

Brod-Munro-Wilson will be looking down at posh boy thinking…….
Take him out of the yard sponsored by the enemy of the fodder and it struggles big time…. |
By:
I suppose it depends if you new it was going to be ridden to win with the least amount of effort/given a nice introduction, would you be prepared to lay it at 1 to 3,betting suggests enough did

"Posh Boy"?
What has that to do with anything,Aceform? |
By:
cobden gave his 4 backhanders after the last. nico never drew his weapon. that was the difference.
By:
So many apologists infest this forum, any one of you 'Wise Men' offer possible explanation as to the pre-race drift! Done my Dinghy Boy £47 this week! Worried about funds for KG Boxing Day, might have to start delivering grub again!
By:
punters thought that 1/3 was too short. not many of us back horses at 1/3. Also SHOTGUN SHIRLEY went from 9/1 to 9/2,a big influence on the fav drifting. Nico is some jockey if he can chuck a race and only lose a short head. You should be praising his horsemanship if you really believe that.

skeltons oh grace drifted 4/1 > 20 pre yest..pi$$ed in.
