Seemed a different horse than his last few runs could anybody tell if there was any questions asked by the stewards or the pundits or has it been put down to just one of those things ?

The performance of SO ALEX which finished unplaced, was considered. Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole’s representative had no explanation for SO ALEX’s performance on this occasion other than a report from Billy Loughnane that the gelding ran flat. The Veterinary Officer examined SO ALEX post-race and had nothing to report.
