I genuinely had a dream about Energumene bolting up in a race but I am sure it was Cheltenham.

Runs tomorrow....Heart says back him.....Head says stop typing daft piffle.

I don't doubt many will agree with the latter  Blush

the way i look at it the horse may resent your intrusion and then scupper you in the race itself, i'd let it go

What I mean is. You can take the pain if it gets gubbed having had so much experience.

It's a crazy old game LH.....and I am sure we have all been through most od=f the stuff that punters raise.

Bad calls.

Amazing luck.

Chance meetings.

Winning accas.....Losing ones.

The whole game fascinates me, including those that gamble.

Nothing ricks my boat more than a punting story or memory.

I have a few, but I bet a few on here could regale a tail or two.

Nothing beats it, win or lose.

I mean....I lost yesterday, but followed my mate to the parade ring because his friend has a share in the last winner and he said he would take a picture of the horse close up and send it to him. The part owner was in India currently or similar.
As we went to leave Nicky Henderson was leaving the winners enclosure area and I (very sadly) asked him for a picture of which he very kindly obliged.

Made my day. I am 47 ffs...it's half embarrassing but I do not care...these trainers and jockeys are legends in my eyes.

I shall get it framed and probably whack it up somewhere, if the Mrs allows. Wink

Consider the dreams you have where the people in it resemble but do not correspond with the real people, i.e. they have not aged. They are not real (the dreams or the people in them. They may be comforting but are not to be relied upon.

I had a dream many years ago where I was at Huish park as Yeovil Town beat Hertha Berlin in the UEFA Cup. As the FA Cup was the only route into the competition for Yeovil, I backed them for it that year at a huge price.

They didn't win it.

Many year ago I dreamed about a horse called Johnny Blush winning a very small race in the USA. I can still picture the dream in my head now...the race was on sand and the horse belts in after taking it a furlong out. Didn't know the track or jockey or any other details.

A couple of days later, I chanced across the USA racing results from the day in question. Was stunned to see a horse called John the Blush had won at 9/1....!

Now, perhaps it was a genuine prophetic dream or perhaps the race had already been run when I had the dream and I had seen the result, which had then gone into my subliminal mind I will never know.

All very spooky but did me no effin' good at all and been trying to dream a good winner ever since!!!
