Bellingham is the one England player I’ve seen play the least. Has flashes of brilliance like all the stars, but the jury is still out for me. I’m not even sure if I like him!
By:
i've personally only seen him in small samples myself, he's never convinced myself he is a superstar, but the opportunity is there in WC to prove me wrong, although i'm sure he doesn't care what i think

From the first minute I saw the laddie play it was clear to me was special. The World Cup generally proves or disproves that so we’ll maybe find out. That’s if Tuchel can actually handle him.
By:
He seems to have the arrogance of a man who has won everything. He not in that league yet.
I think he’d be better liked if he showed some humility. A lot of the England players are pretty good at that imo. |
By:
In all fairness wish he was playing for Ireland in qualifier, also Kane but we will need to try and do it with the players who chose Ireland, before England. I have my doubts but you never know.
By:
I agree kenbo, that is his problem. But his c.v. is way ahead of each and every other English player, other than Kane, who is of course a standout if we ignore his shortage of silverware. If Tuchel could get that edge working as a positive he would be doing well imo.

By:
I bet he’d love to swap his individual honours with Foden!
By:
I forgot about him. True. He is still to really fire for England too. Full of class and the promise of 3xcellence but doesn’t quite get it there. Don’t you think?
Very likeable. |

One player does not a team make unless the name is Diego or Pele!!
By:
I hope he comes good in an England shirt. He saved us at the Euros with a last gasp goal.
Our squad doesn’t look that impressive. He’s gonna have stand up and lead the way with a few of our other star men. |
By:
I agree Cag but he can have a hell of an influence. Cliche it may be but big players do it in big games, when the chips are down. I believe he has that in him.

Take out the non English and would "England" be a force better than they were when Scotland regularly outperformed them in the World Cup iyo?
By:
Less than 1/10th of population btw!!
By:
I can’t remember us ever “outperforming” England in a World Cup.
By:
Have you had a frontal lobotomy or just forgot 74 & 78?
By:
Non English, Glen?
Your star player is a born and bred Manc! |
By:
We can hardly outperform a team that isn’t there. If you meant the Qualifying stages you should have made that clear - fcukwit.
By:
can you name the non english playing for england because i cant think of any ??
By:
I can only assume Glen thinks any black player we’ve fielded over the years don’t count. Tragic, if for him if that’s the case.
By:
I simply started with colour then dna heritage tbf, a bit like an "English" team winning the European Cup!!
Lobotomy 1.01 for you then Honcho? |
By:
Google says Marc Guehi was born in the Ivory Coast. We’d be doomed without him!
By:
It is something that no English club can never claim and only one club that could ever claim as being purely of their country if they ever managed it?
Can you name the compy or the club (s)? |
By:
Forest had all UK players I think.
By:
Scottish star player no doubt Kenbo but not 11 "English" players, was his name John by any chance?
By:
WHU. 1975 FA Cup.
I would take the credit for it…… |
By:
You clearly just wanted hostilities. Stupid man.
By:
Clearly just stated facts as always, not my fault you and others deny them without contrary discussion to back up your juvenile rants?
By:
Stand by for the bite!!
By:
What rants halfwit?
By:
I assume you can read Honcho? Confusing tbh that you think I was referring to you again?
If I was a halfwit it would quadruple your IQ at least!! |
By:
Oh Dear. Not terribly mature are you?
By:
You think not which describes your maturity, nearer 70 than 17 Honcho and my grandchildren are more mature than you will ever be, you sound like the idiots I spent my life locking up tbh.

No mention who turn out to ber our top goalscorer .... EZE.

As the forum can see you started the abuse. 20.45. Then followed it up with 20.58. No need for either comment, was there? The forum will have witnessed it and formed its own judgement. |

He might’ve been born in England, Glasgow, but he doesn’t count as an English player in Glen’s eyes.
