I mean all punters are equal but what about the big hitters who lumped on him at Newcastle thinking the vibes are great and everything is Hunky Dory?.......Would not have touched him with a barge pole.

Jeriko du reponet at Sandown last year. Unibet sponsorship. Rank stable. Crying on cue another string to add to his bow.
By:
Strange though, as you would have expected a drift, but he was well supported.

Maybe the big hitters should glance at the formbook and not rely on stable gossip.
Regardless of what happened or did not happen while schooling, Constitution Hill had lost his three previous races by two falls and a submission. Saturday had "watching brief" written all over it. |
By:
Interestingly, B365 were offering Evens (enhanced from 1/2) to finish 1 or 2 which told me he would either win, and 365 had laid a 6/4 chance at evens; or fall, get pulled up, etc.
There's often something to read into 365 specials. I agreed it was a watching brief. |

By:
there were a few online companys offering similar rob ^ ,i dont think anything untoward in it as there were question marks around the whole field one way or the other and the falls and poor punchestown run plus the hype around conshill prob made it a no lose situation whatever the result for them . adding that there would have been a limit on stakes anyway.

If anyone jumped on Ronaldo Hill more fool them

until someone sticks up a video or the person riding or NH say conclusively it's guesswork, also there's a huge question over when this supposedly happened because the original rumour was the day they shipped it north
who puts a horse on a lorry for a 300 mile trip when it's gone down, that's just stupid? the truth is prob something in between, either it was an unseat or it was older news, if a trainer travelled a horse to the races on the same day after a fall he needs his head checking, you'd think NH would go public either with the facts or a complete denial |

Henderson on Nick Luck this morning saying everything had gone beutifully for his preparation for the umpteenth time.....So there ya go.

ty acey i don't watch it but if it transpires it's true then he has some questions to answer
By:
Does him falling off during schooling, really affect the horses chances a few days later ?
By:
lucky didnt ask him about schooling fall
fitzy, luke didn't mention it when discussing it at length on atr tells me it happened |
By:
Luck did bottle it right enough.
By:

Gobsmacked he has not completely ruled out another run over Hurdles.....Can you imagine he did run and the worst happen Henderson would be a bigger outcast than Andrew Mountbatten Windsor ffs.

Oxford dictionary word of the year" rage bait "
A term that describes manipulative tactics used to drive engagement online Seems to me that is what all this constitution hill "falling when schooling"is all about |

Maybe I've missed it but has anyone seen a comment from Barry Geraghty who bought CH as a foal? Bearing in mind his association with Henderson and his help on getting back Sprinter Sacre I'd be interested to hear his view.
By:
Geraghty stated that it would be difficult to untrain the horses mind, as if his mental issues had been trained into him. Not very well opined if the RP were quoting verbatim.
By:
Thanks Cag. I've just found his comments online, notably that the horse is picking up a stride early. All the falls have been since the introduction of padded hurdles so perhaps the horse has been put off by having to change his old natural technique. I'm not a de Boinville knocker but he's bound to be apprehensive. Maybe try a younger, no-nonsense pilot.
By:
Sounds like Nicky may not rule out a jockey change and going back over hurdles a possibility, the only things ruled out are retirement and fences DrGordons.
By:
It's absolutely nothing to do with the padded hurdles and no jockey ever born could stop it from guessing at the flights
By:
He overjumped in his previous race, fell in the two before that, I very much doubt that the 'big hitters' would have been tempted to get involved in the Fighting Fifth.
By:
If it wasnt the bond between this particular owner/Trainer I suspect CH would have been moved on ages ago, the last roll of the dice for me would be a stint at Skeltons .. see what happens ? ( yes i know it will never happen )
