Uncompetitive small fields, often a Mullins benefit at the top level, are killing the jumps, but when they get a competitive chase at a decent level at a Grade 1 track, they snub it. Unbelievable, Jeff.
more should have been done to get both races on ITV

It's not a coincidence that the top turnover races throughout a year tend to be televised competitive handicaps.
They could have shown the Ascot race and then shown a replay from the last of Lossiemouth strolling home at odds of 5-1 ON.
