Google actually lists seven trainers since 2002 (if 2002 is included).
By:
I noticed it on a winning trainers board at Cheltenham at the weekend it was from when the trainers title started those names on it went back to 2002 I thought perhaps it was 2004 but either way there’s only 5 different names on it
By:
It was as 2004
By:
Johnson?
By:
Mullins, Nicholls, Henderson, Jonjo?, Johnson?
By:
Well done busy
Unlucky with jonjo he won it when not recognised as a competition zzzorro |
By:
Elliot was the other zzzorro
By:
I thought Jonjo won it in 2003? Obviously not, forgot all about Elliot.
By:
It was zzzorro I changed it to 2004 as I read it on a trophy board at Cheltenham the trainers title only started in 2004
By:
Got you.
By:
Blimey. Thats a first
I am no horse racing triva type at all. My next gues was M C Chapman ![]() |
By:
Chapman would be more likely than nick Gifford
By:
Careful. He is on fire atm (by his standards)
By:
Inglis Drever was a great horse for Johnson. Great shout there, Zzzoro. Thought that was a tough one.
By:
I asked a few at Cheltenham at the weekend including two members of the forum each on got the obvious 4 and all said de bromhead none got Johnson without clues.
By:
I’d have needed a lot of clues to get him. Was never in my mind at all.
By:
Me to kembo just shows you how it’s changed 3 winners won it
Back in 1982 18 races jonjo was leading jockey with one winner and that was the last race of the meeting the county hurdle he won it on most placed horses. Pre meeting favourite imagine laying him and you do your money like that |
By:
That’s incredible.
Eighteen jockeys all tied on a win each. Could you imagine eighteen different jockeys winning the first eighteen races nowadays? No chance. |
By:
Alan king,he had a big few years with choccie.
By:
Jimnast. Did you ask Gal about the pound coins.
