Even Willie was gobsmacked.
I really can't have American racing....these greyhound tracks are ludicrous... Now onto Melbourne, Willie, which is proper horse racing... |

Read between the lines Loyal. ED has been beating handicappers!

Will be the first time ever that kevin o ryan is lost for words.
By:
he drew 14 broke ok dropped in right across to the rail off even-fast pace v quick speed favouring track & he's looped the field
gunning down 2 horses 10lb+ superior to him ...1st run in the jurisdiction that's the answer imo |

2nd and 3rd for Charlie, 3rd for young Billy.

Hardi know, given they generally only run in the "world championships!!"
By:
pace was a beat quicker than even 12s for 1/2mile
given its been a front end gashole all night it certainly wasn't a pace that would lend it those tactics or explain that run |

What a season. Mullins wins Grade 1 with a handicapper and the Arc second is well beat. Isn't this kind of thing supposed to be confined to sprint races? Might he have a few more on the flat now?

don't know a lot about the Yankee horses but antiquarian at 40s ish on here looks a bit big

wasn't a pace collapse but ED won in Ascot firm pulling the whole way. if he could settle around there with the likely guaranteed quick pace on the turn, he could be a stone better. which, fair play to howard, alluded to before the race.

Amiloc was 4th = £200k

By:
how many of that field aren't devouring that ascot hcap off 96?
By:
he shouldn't have won. watch it back and see how rank he was
By:
already have
By:
from memory Ryan could hardly control him
By:
he's 100 i/r imo with the move at the start
if v strong pace yes can frame up doing that but better to sit 2-3 wide not mess about looping around |
By:
he's ludicrously wide on the home turn as well

Major stabbings on a train in Cambridgeshire.

By:
obviously wasn't inevitable, but if he was going to be able to race without pulling, on firm going, it was going to be in today's conditions.
By:
Unfathomable result.
By:
already backed antiquarian who beat seira Leone last time but is a much bigger price today and added Nevada beach just the 4 runs 3 wins Shirley has scope for more ,unraced at 2 and around 34 ish on here will do for me!as said no expert on the yanks tbhso may well be wide of the mark here .

Wasn't Awtaad one of the stallions highlighted by Kevin Blake on the barstewards podcast recently, as one he'd like to support as a breeder but his progeny just aren't fashionable at the sales with buyers?
I know Hugh Taylor highlighted a while back that Awtaad's progeny tend to improve with age. He's clearly capable of getting top class horses eg Anmaat, and tough ones too eg Al Qareem. |
