Just watched an old episode from series 7 a TR4, did a lovely job on Engine and body, they must have put it through MOT in 2018 after restoration but notice failed MOT in 2019. Have looked up quite a few of these cars and quite a few have failed MOTs not long afterwards, shame really.

i too follow up a few motors from the various tv series around. This Sunbeam Lotus went earlier this month at Mathewsons for over 13 grand.

Awful lot of work, time and expense to bring back to life
one went about 5 years ago from same show and came with a Brand New shell as well. Worse condition and similar cost to buy and now available below in a couple of weeks.
The car, now fully restored is up for grabs at the Classic Car show auction with a guide price of 25-30 grand.Reg XPK 9Y

If i was in the market for one i would defo not be buying the former one where you'll have to be spending years and 000's to get it to the standing of the latter.
