This is so weird. A date set for sentencing after a guilty verdict reached post a court trial, but no news about the sentencing. Has it taken place or has it been postponed indefinitely? Something major and unexpected must have happened for a news embargo or a postponement of sentencing.

The sentencing date was 26th Aug 2025. It's 27th 2025 now. May I suggest a poster here who's in the legal profession contact a msm for some info. This is so bizarre.

Trial on for the next 5 weeks apparently.

They should have pleaded guilty, probably would have been out by now.

Nothing in it guv, he just randomly set fire to my flat. Mandelson affair already has its scapegoat, no doubt paid off with full pension and healthy pay off package.

The government PR machine needs to get into overdrive to get through the next few weeks.

Astounding he is still in charge

But after a trial at Woolwich Crown Court, Samuel Corner, 23, Charlotte Head, 29, Leona Kamio, 30, Fatema Rajwani, 21, Zoe Rogers, 22, and Jordan Devlin, 31, were found not guilty of aggravated burglary.

That Lord Ali, a former Labour supporter who was jailed for 6 yrs (I believe) was vociferous he'd done nothing wrong, and would vigorously contest it in court. In the end he went down without a whisper. His two relatives were too ill to plead.

When will he be released? Will he be deported post serving his sentence? Will he still be a Labour Lord upon release?

Do try and keep up Glasgow.

The younger one has already been convicted of assault against the two female police officers and starbucks customer.

OK, on the ball now , just googled it ..

A jury convicted Amaaz of assaults on the two female officers. He and his fellow defendant claimed they acted in self-defence against the male police officer, which the jury could not make a decision on. We will be working with the Crown Prosecution Service in support of a re-trial for these counts.

So the jury couldnt tell if they were acting in self defence ??  Good Lord. Laugh
