Objection by clerk of the scales I am hearing. Not sure on context.
Swap jockeys fav wins. How embarrassing. 15lb light and still gets beat :)
Thought they said it had weighed in light but Chapman confused me by saying if it had carried the correct weight how far would it have won by?
The Clerk of the Scales objected to MILLER SPIRIT (IRE), placed second, ridden by Toby Moore, and
trained by Gary & Josh Moore on the grounds of the rider weighing in at 8st 7lb having weighed out at 9st
8lb. The Rider, the Trainer, the Valet and the Clerk of the Scales were interviewed. Moore was fined £1000
as the Trainer’s representative had failed to saddle the horse correctly by failing to add the correct weight
cloth to MILLER SPIRIT (IRE). MILLER SPIRIT (IRE) was disqualified and the placings were revised as
follows: FIRST – MACARI; SECOND – MUSIC PIECE (IRE); THIRD – FOURONEOHFEVER (IRE);

I hope his mum and dad could find the incident humorous. The poor lad is unlikely though.
It’s all part of his evolution,learning,I’m sure he ll laugh about it in years to come.
Not on the Racing Post site yet, well over an hour after the stewards report, but they did put Saturday's Punting Panel up, with Gary in, 30 mins ago. Wonder if they asked him about it whilst he was giving his tips?
A very tidy rider, could be interesting for champion apprentice given the support he already has.
Congratulations to young Toby, neat winner. Definitely got Dad's mannerisms, but good luck to the young man!

I'm so glad for him. The youngster was under the spotlight each time he rode; his mum must have been having kittens too. And, to get the monkey off his back can only be a major relief, and a sense of achievement.

He is getting a leg up early in his career for sure. Time will tell if he his up to it.
With his progeny, support and coaching from his dad, grandad and uncles he's a better chance than any youngster in the business. A bit of luck and stay off injury and he'll be ok.
As long as his heart is really in it. Time will tell.
