8/1 to ride 250 winners
40/1 to break McCoy's record of 289

Rode 180 winners last season. At the end of October he had 65 winners.
With 11 days of October left he is on 109
He is currently priced up at 1/5 to ride 200 winners and 6/4 to ride 225 winners
There are 187 days till the end of the season
I would suggest that 3/1-7/2 and 14/1-16/1 would be more appropriate prices

Hopefully he stays injury free and I get a good run for my money Devil

Cheers jack, at least I put this one up before racing

Prices shorter than yesterday, but I put a lot more on

Gonna fiddle around with cash out a bit, but inclined to let most of it ride

The only reason you get a cash out, is because the value is stacked in the bookmakers favour. Apart from football, if a goal would bust you going into injury time, it's definitely something I wouldn't do. Each to their own though and good luck whatever you decide

How's about we email befair to put the market up?
And while we're at it, we could get them to put up the 250 winner and to beat McCoy's record markets. 50/1 and 150/1 you're happy to lay, yes

It's not mad. Far less competitive than APs time, lots of small fields where he will be on the jolly, and probably fewer meetings cancelled due to frost protection et al. Obviously will need to be on the lucky side when it comes to injury and bans.

One thing McCoy had in his favour was he could ride at 2 meetings in a day. I have no idea how often he did though.

The earliest AP reached 100 was 21st August. 250 looks plausible (whilst still odds against), the record seems most likely out of reach, as the betting suggests. Though I seem to recall at least one year that McCoy was on for the 300, but he got injured.

Oh well if Cidre thinks it’s doable, I’m increasing, no doubling
My odds, 100/1 and 300/1 Grin I’ll set up a PO. Box in Billericay
For all wagers.

the weather is often a factor, but bowen is getting on enough horses a year to regularly break 200 now , needs things to drop right for 250 or more, but he's looking in a different league to most of the others currently

I suppose it's why the forum has nose dived so far. Someone posts a couple of reasoned bets at decent prices, and the snipers are out straight away to shoot them down. All I did was do a bit of reach so far, and stated that one of the bets looks doable. I'm not involved but wish the OP the best of luck.

Does anyone on here possess a sence of humour, or glean
Some posts may be  hinting at Irony, or taken the pesh ??

All seem to be very sensitive, and easily upset, as a result of
Misinterpreting a post, my post suggesting you thinking it was doable
Was a light hearted prod?? Loosen up

But to clarify hé has absolutely no chance of riding 290 winners,
And a remote chance  of 250, offered odds, are hugely under the true
Odds, but there’s 1000’s of mugs out there, who have no understanding
Of true odds. The trader thst set the market, will know the likely true odds
