How you can remember how a horse looked 2 months ago compared to now is beyond me! Two months ago the sun is out, everyone is roasting because it's 28 degrees....today most are wrapped up and enjoying a Bovril as opposed to a cold one.....

1.most talking heads get a fee,he’s a journalist ,it’s how he makes a living.250-500 would be my guess for his 2 minutes.
2.he knows how the horse has developed cos he makes notes,so can refer to them,or the trainer tells him,it’s filled out ,etc.

I can easily spot a "Paddock Judge".

He will say which horses are fit and which need the run.He is not always right but nobody is
