How you can remember how a horse looked 2 months ago compared to now is beyond me! Two months ago the sun is out, everyone is roasting because it's 28 degrees....today most are wrapped up and enjoying a Bovril as opposed to a cold one.....

On the issue of the thread.
1.most talking heads get a fee,he’s a journalist ,it’s how he makes a living.250-500 would be my guess for his 2 minutes. 2.he knows how the horse has developed cos he makes notes,so can refer to them,or the trainer tells him,it’s filled out ,etc. |

I can easily spot a "Paddock Judge".
They are the people with no shoes and socks on their feet As I stated,it is an impossible task with the number of horses in training |

Ithink he is quite good particularly with unraced horses.
He will say which horses are fit and which need the run.He is not always right but nobody is Asking him just to comment on group races where most of them are fit isa bit unfair |
