I expect you are more of an expert Cider as my service only covered 3 decades and I have been fooled into thinking bombing is not indiscriminate?

If you say that someone is using a sledgehammer to crack a nut, you mean that they are using stronger measures than are really necessary to solve a problem.
If ever a saying was appropriate. |

You can't really have a conventional war with rapists, terrorists and baby killers on the opposing side. Savages, basically. As we saw on Thursday.

Given your extensive expertise, are you claiming that the IDF are targeting - 'women and children, elderly and infirm' ?
Yes / No |

Did I mention IDF Cider? Maybe the bombing comment will give you a hint?

Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group through direct attacks on civilians and protected objects; severe mistreatment of detainees; forced displacement; and environmental destruction
Deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the destruction of the group in whole or in part through destruction of structures and land essential to Palestinians; destruction and denial of access to medical services; forced displacement; blocking essential aid, water, electricity and fuel from reaching Palestinians; reproductive violence; and specific conditions impacting children Imposing measures intended to prevent births through the December 2023 attack on Gaza's largest fertility clinic, reportedly destroying around 4,000 embryos and 1,000 sperm samples and unfertilised eggs |

What I find truly frightening is that Brit members of the IDF who have engaged as snipers in the shooting of young kids in the head as they queued for food, return to GB without any questions about th⁹eir murderous activities.
SOURCE: The courageous English, Scottish and Irish doctors, in interviews, who volunteer to tend to the Gazan civilians, risking their own lives in the process. And IDF soldiers themselves, bragging about the atrocities on social media outlets! They should be arrested at Heathrow on return! |

Those comments prove you are nothing but a keyboard warrior Cider, juvenile and crass.

An Israeli reservist who served three tours of duty in Gaza has told Sky News in a rare on-camera interview that his unit was often ordered to shoot anyone entering areas soldiers defined as no-go zones, regardless of whether they posed a threat, a practice he says left civilians dead where they fell.
"We have a territory that we are in, and the commands are: everyone that comes inside needs to die," he said. "If they're inside, they're dangerous you need to kill them. No matter who it is," he said. https://news.sky.com/story/israeli-soldier-describes-arbitrary-killing-of-civilians-in-gaza-13393422 Just one source there have been many others. |

Grok on Elon Musk's platform X
Based on a broad review of credible sources representing Israeli, Palestinian, UN, and NGO perspectives, there is substantial evidence from multiple independent investigations indicating that IDF actions have included deliberate or systematic targeting of civilians, medical personnel, aid seekers, and civilian infrastructure in Gaza. This includes patterns of shootings at unarmed crowds, airstrikes on non-military sites without justification, and policies enabling high civilian casualties. However, Israel and the IDF consistently deny these allegations, asserting that all operations target Hamas militants and infrastructure, with civilian deaths resulting from Hamas's use of human shields or operational necessities in a dense urban environment. Civilian casualty ratios—estimated at 83% by leaked IDF data—are cited by critics as evidence of intent or recklessness, while Israel claims ratios are historically low given the context. |

Hopefully Donald will sort this mess in Gaza and rightfully return the stolen (dead and barely alive) to the families…

Based on a broad review of credible sources representing Israeli, Palestinian, UN, and NGO perspectives, there is substantial evidence from multiple independent investigations indicating that IDF actions have included deliberate or systematic targeting of civilians, .......................... The HAMAS 'army' entered Israel on the 7th October solely to target civilians. 6,00 Gaza 'civilians' went along with them to join in the slaughter. You get what you ask for. |

Breaking News: East Sussex mosque firebombed yesterday, with hardly a mention in the media. I wonder why? Anyway, I'm confident that this Forum will unanimously condemn this outrage, including even the raging redneck racists who I am sure will also be horrified. Speak up boys!

Obviously fire bombed by the simple mind….
Terror is committed by the evil mind…. Check the stats all over Europe…. |

9/11 dancing in the streets more vomit inducing venom….. |

Ihal and his ilk will always be apologists for certain groups and indulge in deflection wherever possible.
The mosque fire is a disgraceful incident as are all arson attacks. It wasn't a bomb, the criminals set fire to liquid outside the entrance and over a car outside. Damage thankfully was limited. The story has been reported by the media, including the bbc on their website as well as their tv and radio reports, so please stop making out otherwise Ihal. Maybe Ihal can enlighten us as to how many innocents have been murdered by Islamist terrorists in the UK over the last 20 years, compared to far right fanatics during the same period ? |

What I find ungracious, ungrateful and even mickey-taking from foreigners regarding protests and demonstrations is they tend to repeatedly bring their conflicts from the mainland of their parents/grandparents' to UK Plc thus annoying and inconveniencing the other ethnics and locals. Some conflicts in the Middle East are ingrained with a long history eg India / Pakistan; Iran / Iraq / Syria / Israel / etc.
UK Plc is their host or adopted country. As such, why involve other inhabitants of UK Plc as well? I'm certain most non-political foreigners who have adopted UK Plc as their 2nd country or are living here temporarily have chosen UK Plc for it's political stability, freedom of movement, economic opportunity, constitution and established legal laws, welfare state, etc. A note to the foreigners: Please do not import / fight your political grievances and conflicts to / in UK Plc respectively. This is so unfair to the other non-political, law abiding and peaceful UK foreign or local residents. |
|
By:
I condemn the Mosque arson outrage. Unequivocally. As any decent individual would. Hopefully no-one was killed, particularly children.

ihal THe Mosque story was well reported this morning on TV news and is on the main page of both the Telegraph and the Guardian.

Is there any shrine for the Chinese or the foreigners from East Asia in UK Plc? There are so many mosques and a few synagogues for foreigners here. Even churches are a diminishing entity in UK Plc despite a large section of foreigners are Christians.
Why is religion such a monumental and controversial subject to some foreigners? s Some see religion as a non-essential belief and nonchalant in their lives. |

I abhor anti-Semitism equally as much as I hate Islamaphobia, but I object to the distorted media coverage in this country highlighting the real abuse being suffered by Jews whilst ignoring the rampant vilification of Muslims in mainstream media.
A word of advice to the deranged rednecks who sadly infest this forum, stop reading the Mail, Express, Sun, Telegraph, Times etc, stop viewing GB News and for objective news coverage switch to Al Jazeerah. Purge your bigotry and prejudices,Embrace the Truth for once! |

I love NH racing and rattling racist cages, fertile ground on here curiously, a horseracing forum. One of my favourite horses was the legendary Beef Or Salmon, a name that conjurs up warm images of dinner being served up by a homely maid.
I've been saving up my £47 weekly allowance in the hope one day I'll be able to purchase a steeplechase. If it happens I'm going to call it Swan Or Carp, following Nigel's recent revelations re the dining tastes of our dinghy visitors. Bon appetit! |

DD, It's not a competition, you fool. I abhor every innocent life lost! Bet you're salivating over the stats though! Don't forget to add in the 267 lives lost in Gaza since Donald the Dictator ordered Bibi to stop bombing the totally defenceless populace. Meanwhile, Dixie Dean, why not add the letter T to your DD initials and give yourself a good DDT powdering. Hopefully, it will purge you of your all too obvious ailment! |

"I love NH racing and rattling racist cages" - is that the intro to your Grindr profile there ihal ?
![]() Nobody is saying it's a competition you cretin, but as you were wondering why islamists get more vilification in the media i thought i would give you a clue and get you to do some sums. Always assuming you know how to add up of course. |
