A cordon is in place following a reported stabbing outside a synagogue in north Manchester.
GMP has confirmed the incident happened outside Heaton Park synagogue, on Middleton Road. The suspect did not gain access to the building. He has been shot at the scene by armed police. His condition is not known, but he is believed to be alive. It's not clear how many people have been injured in this incident but one member of the public has been stabbed, the force said. |

It's been quite a few days in Ireland.
A Foreign national tries to stab multiple people including an OAP on a walk with their grandchild, a jogger and priest. A family murdered in Louth. Teen stabbed 20 times. And this image does not include 2 attempted abductions - 1 in Listowel, another in Dublin (2 Romanians). And a murder suicide in Finglas Its becoming more and more commonplace unfortunately |

You’re lucky to get an ambulance that quick. Deport his family, they knew he was and I’m glad to use past tense - a wrong ‘un. |
