Would think connections won’t be putting him up next time, was easily the best horse but jockey didn’t ride him accordingly

held up and behind the whole field on a horse with at least 10lb in hand is not a winning formula

leif, a bit simplistic that isn't it? Is every horse who wins a race the best horse? I had no bet but , as others have said, ridden on the rails with that much in hand? He passed half the field in the last furlong.

Up that rail is undoubtedly the place to be but if you don't get the breaks, there is little else to do but sit and suffer. Hopefully they get it back next time and in the future

If he had switched to come wide, around the whole field,  he'd have won on Thanos. Backed as if the colt was a good thing.

Not only has he cost the connections a well worked gamble but he’s also shown the horses ability to everyman and his dog, probably be odds on next time
