Johnny G just overheard ordering some Mounjaro on his mobile. Looks like he's going to start riding them himself, so disgruntled he is with these so-called jockeys.

it looked like he was going to pull it up but was trying to get it to the back I think. The drift said a lot but didn't stink for me - clearly they had reservations about something. I do hope peeps already know that Gosden is about as a close as you can come modern day to Baron vs Serf in attitude towards punters

2.1 to 4.4 was some drift. Made the running last time. Dropped out stone last today and then rushed up to lead before unsurprisingly flattening out. ?????

Don't ask Gosden he'll remove you from his land if you're unfortunately slaving upon it, conviscate your tools so you can't work elsewhere, and then kick you and your family out on Christmas morning

Thanks Frogger - The goat man shared it yesterday, as said you never see him after they lose, at least Gosden doesn’t hide.
What trainer does care for punters?

Some a little more but they all have a main job to do. He's the archetypal Toff - when I see him cuddling up for rare interviews I just hope everybody knows it as well

I’m wary when I listen to any of them, but do like listening to him (toff or no toff) talk about tracks and draws etc… his knowledge is second to none on that score.

For those knocking the ride you have to remember he was drawn outside of them all, would have burnt up energy to get to the front (then also been criticised for doing so) and is a young horse, only had two starts and they like to teach them things, like settle in behind in preparation for next year. It’s a big baby that met a good one.

The layers got pretty lucky didn't they, it wasn't clairvoyance to know the horse would take it up inside the furlong and trade long odds on ir. Certainly no inside knowledge.

Outside of the bandit stuff, my view is that the market is reflective of stable confidence. Obviously it can snowball beyond context. These can be good betting opportunities. Yesterday there was obviously a lot of stable confidence about the winner as well.

Just as an example anyway, one huge drifter I did bet was Royal Fixation in the Lowther. Walker was interviewed pre race on rtv and was pretty confident so a mystery why it was a heavy drifter throughout ebor week. Coincidentally, Buick again! I wouldn't have bet it at the earlier prices.

There was a similarity between the finish here and the Kalpana finish in that both her and Publish looked to be coming to swamp the eventual winners and ultimately were outstayed by horses with solid form and proven stamina at the respective trips. I would be reluctant to back either of the runners up to reverse the form even given the trainer of Kalpana said would come on for the race.
Even if Publish was ridden more prominently next time at this sort of trip against the winner I think the result would be the same and even more pronounced if they raced over further. Harsh imo to be critical of either jockey but proves Keane is top class to get from Kempton to Haydock and defy the two meeting rule to boot, according to Quixall tbf!!

If we are to believe the supposed bias that subsequently surfaced, Publish got the best of that, until he drifted in at the end. Just a horse still pretty green and learning the job, nothing to see here imo.

in hindsight SDS was 10 yds away and closest to the yet to be confirmed golden highway in the 1 m 6 race and drifted 40 yds across the track away from the golden highway to race near the winner valiency and got run out of it,not that i was on ew at 12,s or anything

Got you Quixall, the one that had the evidence of his losing £5K bet and awaiting the answer from you regarding your misheard conversation when your sister was explaining being in a jeep riddled with bullets in Belfast?
Apart from not knowing how to delete a thread it does seem convenient that it has been taken down, any ideas Quixall?

Not difficult, no women were out on patrol in Belfast in the 70s and we never used jeeps so you and amazingly Hibby with the same story was not just unlikely, it was impossible.
