Used to love this race, think is one of the oldest 1m h'caps in Britain. A bit of a specialist track and i remember old Osteopathic Remedy winning this race 3 or 4 times for owner Kevin Kirkland.
Tim Easterby and David O'Meara usually have a runner or two in race. Todays field has just seven runners now so hopefully won't be any hard luck stories. I'll chance an EW bet on Barley for Easterby, 2nd in race last year when Kirrane put up 2lb o/w and possibly needs a bit of luck as has a course record of 222. 15/2 seems reasonable 1st 2.

Good luck stewarts rise, looks to have a sound each way chance.
Hopefully, managed to get nearly 13/2 1st 3 with WH, closely matched h'cap though.
