Continued to use his whip with his right hand throughout the last furlong despite the horse drifting badly left?
Watson was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed under a right-handed drive without sufficient correction, causing REBEL PATH (FR) to become short of room and switch off heels, which in turn caused SENSORIUM (IRE) to be taken off his intended line, and have to take a check against the rail.
