Field Of Gold is 5/1 for the QE2 Stakes at Ascot. Not bad, however I'd like to see him in a racecourse gallop at least prior to taking a position.

Would you be willing or rushing to take such short odds for Field Of Gold again even thought two all age mile races have been won by the older generation despite there being NO standout star? Still no opinions?  The post were late in coming to the party in asking the same question! And as ever when asked NO opinion given when faced with a straight forwards question! (Except for Impossible) Should you back Field Of Gold wherever he runs next? I don't see the point in taking on a horse like Field Of Gold, who on all known form is comfortably the best miler out there, in the hope that he runs another stinker. |

Who are Tom Park and Maddy Playle? Was their above contribution necessary? Was it necessary to be put into print?
Any seasoned and experienced punter would have adopted the strategy ages ago. I'd only suggest the necessity to put their opinions into print was to fill columns of space in the Racing Post, a supposedly "horseracing" paper, presently in a spiral decline. Pathetic! |

That’s was a slightly shortened version Impossible!
 Field OF Gold IS entered in the Moulin on the 7th of the 9th and there IS NO mention of that in the article. It’d be back at the track where he lost before so will they go again? |

FoG will not go to America, and neither will it go to France. Either will be utter folly, and not horse responsible. I believe the only possible race (before retirement) is the QE2 at Ascot, but only on conducive good or better ground. The horse owes connections nothing, assuming the lameness sustained during the Sussex is entirely truthful.

The speed mile suits him there Driver they messed around taking him for the July Cup, typical Godolphin. The winner got first run and had shown enough speed to win over 7 f last time. The Ground was quick there. It’s an easy mile just short of 8 furlongs there. |
