Benji total agree with u and of u looked at daces ride on horse twice before was absolute hideous too ,I dont know what beckett playing at , the horse in question is a very genuine animal too and that what makes the incompetence galling, the bha should fine beckett for this carry on , if this happened in India or hk it would not be accepted

sometimes the blind is stuck because its been put on improperly or nag gets its teeth into it or gets caught in bridal not alwayd jockeys fault and never the jockies |

I remember one jockey who had dreadful luck with blindfolds, it was uncanny, but then I guess it's a hard job to do when you've got one hand busy making sure the brown envelope is nicely tucked away in your back pocket.

ironman, i dont think its much of an issue. if you are at it this isnt a very good way of doing it and no certainty to work. there are many better ways and i doubt many have been instructed to fumble around with a blind to stop the nag winning

I have read all the comments and agree with 90% of them .the game is slipping away slowly i grew up loving horse racing watching my dad put his bets on and watching them ,unreal memories,but i am starting to loose faith in it but am not alone am i ,cheers lads and girls

If Edward greatex got month ban which he should do , I can guarantee u it would focus the mind pretty sharpish and I can guarantee u he'd put more practice with it and be more competent , they guff he gave stewards today , the blindfold was put on wrong and caught on bit and that it took him second time to pull it off , u are the fuking jockey u should know if tangled in bit plus to avoid all that rubbish pull it off like u did second time for future reference , I've watched hollie doyle all her career and I've yet to see her pull blind off wrong and hollie is small and wouldn't have same reach as greatex but she never did it wrong , even when she was apprentice at hannons , she was always capable to remove blind correctly as apprentice
