no problem with the result overturn, but why were betfair close the market and pay out. no chance to trade out keep the race market was open to trade out. |
By:
i checked several times and the market was closed and settled
By:
horse racing > specials > keep the race..happens often.

BOOBY and GOB would TFPTP still have won if jock had put his whip down and switched whip hands
great no problem NOW DO would the/a winner have won if the jock hadnt broken whip rules giving it one,two more than the 2nd who,s jock stayed within the rules ? |
By:
Subject to you betting in small stakes, ely
By:
deserved to lose race with jock not pulling whip through to his right hand..only had 150yds to do so..ridic.

How these desperados keep funding is beyond me,elise
By:
meade appealing, if it was a mullins horse FPTP ,BOOBY would have called it
HARD RACE RIDING nap 1.01 now says it was an easy decision |
By:
Have BF reclaimed your "winnings" yet,FTP?
By:
and if itwasnt for the DQ in plate,BOOBY would have crucified townshend for letting the winner in the next up his inside
By:
Anyone notice if the JP faller at last (beaten) in 5:05 got up?
looked potentially a bad one. |
By:
i thought i saw it getting up on the head on but didn't fully see it move off
By:
Cheers, thats nice to hear.
By:
fingers crossed
By:
2 horses leaning on each other at the end of a race, happens all the time, no real interference as such, neither stopped riding etc etc, think Meade will get it back on appeal.
By:
deserved to lose race with jock not pulling whip through to his right hand..only had 150yds to do so..ridic.
By:
winner was leaning on 2nd swift from my hobbs sir vayshun
By:
do stewards factor in whip action/efforts? Personally i think they shouldn't, the question should be did the interference affect the result, it's like a jockey saying I pulled my whip through, hit it down the neck but still put my rival over the rail can I keep the race Sir? Not relevant for me strictly by the rules. I thought it could be reversed but who knows any more!
By:
I think that the decision was correct (as I stated earlier).
The real problem is that its the Wild West over there regarding these outcomes |
By:
uti, is any better over here?! often think with the same panel, same kind of incident, different result one day to the next, never worth second guessing them!
By:
There are Courses that I will play in a Stewards over here and those I will not and the "nots" are for a very good reason.
In any event,I will not risk more than £1,000 on the outcome, swifty |
By:
That's still pretty brave, I got bitten a few times too many, unless the prices look way out or I'm hedging don't get heavily involved.
By:
that one today think it was 7-4 to get it in the KTR market, did I see that right?
By:
Its all relative,swifty,
Today's Nottingham Stewards looked a stone bonking reversal but maximum stakes still applied |
By:
The original second was 1.2 to get it
By:
I was talking Galway. if 1.2 was value at Notts I guess you had to play it!
By:
Correct.
If I had any faith of the integrity of Irish Stewards I would have had a stab at the 2nd today. I don't |
By:
notts was 1.18 / 9/2 ish
galway 1.5 / 2/1 ish absolutely no comparison in value. |
