in the modern era BSP will always beat SP, hence it's not hard for bookmakers to manipulate prices via BF. But as said previously they dont know the result so for every 'well backed(!)' winner they may save on, they will be paying out more on the drifters.

if you can play the hokey cokey to your advantage, well played.

and some went higher first, so if you have a stop loss in place you'll have taken the loss before the price dropped 10% below.
