You would have to be getting on a bit if you do.

One of my favourites from the 1960's, he was all the rage in 1963 with a lot expected of him, as he was lightly raced with dodgy legs. He had just won the Ascot Gold Cup beating the top French colt Misti IV,  and now in the King George he was up against Irish Derby winner Ragusa.  I seem to recall he led into the straight and looked the winner, then broke down.  Ragusa won it.
A King George memory as I've never forgotten him.  A 'could have been great' for Noel Murless / Piggott, he was just unlucky.

He became a NH sire, his best was Midnight Court, Cheltenham Gold Cup winner in the 70's..

Three parts brother to Crepello. They were both outstanding racehorses with bad legs. Crepello's offspring, in turn, also tended to have bad legs, and some of them were untrainable. Twilight Alley was used as a NH sire, and they seemed to have been sounder - Drumlargan, Sant Angelo and Twiberry were others he sired. The Ascot Gold Cup was just his 3rd race.
