Its been around for a while now. I tried it for some of my mobile bets when I didn't have time to watch the market. Every time I got matched at a worse price than I had asked for. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but came to the conclusion it was dogshyte.

you're basically giving paudy's traders carte blanche to mug you off with a sh!t price and they'll have it straight back on at the actual price. do not, ever, press it.

Only noticed it today. Maybe there is a soft rollout, maybe it depends when you log in, or maybe I'm blind as a bat.

again, paudy should just be taking his 2% and that's it. all this does is shows he's prepared to go to any lengths to mug users of the exchange off

Is it worse than on course prices

I don't share the cynicism but it has been ineptly executed because it makes it harder to change your stake.

I played with it on mobile when it first came out a couple of years ago - it just places your unmatched bet again a few ticks below the price that failed to match or the current price (can't remember which) so with best price execution you ought to get matched and not get matched too far off what you wanted.
For me, it makes sense on mobile where price editing is fiddly and time consuming - I haven't yet found a reason to use it on the desktop where I do 99% of my betting. |
