Plenty of sophisticated bots will be scalping every market every day for peanuts. If that annoys/excites you fair enough, that is the current landscape on Betfair. You can't pay the bills with peanuts, only backing actual winners does that.

i've got nothing to gain by BS'ing.  If i had video evidence of the £108 appearing one tick under my bet at the start of that chase, with s0d all else over £4 anywhere else you'd probably change your mind.  as i've said before when you're playing that game you only have to fk up once and the cats out the bag.  he fkd up that day.  and any conjecture about who owns all the rest of them was put to bed.  up to you if you trust a bookie to run an exchange good luck to you.  i don't.  show me some evidence that the oversight in place offers comfort regarding the integrity of the prices shown, with particular emphasis on the owners involvement in his own markets.

hulk, look back at betfair multiple days, any roll up bets, it was quite easy for BF to block a horse drifting and get an artifically low BSP, they couldn't stop others drifting in a 100% market, so they could be exposed elsewhere. no different to today, for everyone they, if it is 'they' shorten up they will pay the price on SP of others.So unless they KNOW the results before race are run it's counter-productive.

but "they" cannot be involved in the exchange markets bcos "they" have access to data that isn't freely available to other players, thus giving them an unfair market advantage.  that is the definition of insider trading and if they've been doing that since they took over, then that's an issue.

i've worked in financial crime.  if anyone doesn't think "weird" things are going on here, i'll refer them to the UK's Serious Fraud Office criminal investigation into manipulation of the Libor interest rates in 2012.  Everyone assumed that couldn't happen, there must have been regulation in place to prevent it, people wouldn't do that.  Yadda yadda.  Guess what, they did.  When there's money involved, and there's no regulation.  People will do anything.  Everything.  It's called greed.
